Control cables:

Control cables are used in the control of the electrical distribution system in generating stations, sub-stations and other industrial applications. These cables can be installed indoors or outdoors, in air or in the underground. These cables are manufactured as per IS: 1554 (Part 1) and are packed in wooden drums but do not have a standard length packing. Mostly each drum consists of 500 Meters or 1000 meters length depending upon the size of the cable

Sigma Cables manufactures single as well as multicore unarmored and armored control cables up to maximum of 100 cores. Control cables consists of soft  annealed solid bare copper conductor of area 1.5 sq.mm./2.5 sq.mm., insulations inner sheath and outer sheath of PVC, armouring of GL wire / Gl strip.

Power Cables:

The Power Cables are used for the distribution of low Voltage electrical in Power-station and other industrial applications. Power Cables are very similar to Control cables.
